It is impressive how after retirement, NBA players have constantly pushed envelopes to strengthen their position in the world. Several have proved that they can thrive in other spheres as well and even revolutionize. One such legend is Allen Iverson. Is it even surprising to watch the Philadelphia 76ers legend take another huge step in his business? Back in 2021, Iverson joined hands with his friend and former NBA player, Al Harrington’s million-dollar brand Viola.

Together with Harrington, he continues to support the purpose of the brand. All set to launch his latest product line under Viola, he decided to promote the brand in the country which molded him into the person he is today.

Allen Iverson visits his homeland to promote his new launch

Iverson’s latest product line, a special strain is titled ‘Iverson’01.’ Along with Harrington, CEO of Viola, Iverson will grace the people of Philadelphia for the launch event of their new strain. Previously, the 11-time NBA All-Star player has mentioned his special connection with the people of the city.

The love was evident in Iverson’s IG pictures from the event. He shared several snippets and snaps on his IG. People were already present at the Northeast Philadelphia RISE dispensary waiting for his arrival.

As soon as the Philadelphia 76ers legend stepped out of his car, fans began to cheer for him. People’s love for the legend was visible on their faces. Here is a glimpse of the event.

In other photographs, he can be seen posing happily with the fans. On the whole, it seemed to be a successful event for the fans as well as the brand.

However, it is quite interesting, since Iverson never had any plan of teaming up with Harrington.

Harrington’s initiative ‘Viola’ was born out of his desire to give recognition to plant medicine. With Iverson, he has successfully extended his business in Pennsylvania. However, the former Philadelphia 76ers was quite clueless when he first came across Harrington’s business plan.

After several meetings, Iverson was convinced. But it was not until 2021 that he agreed to the team up. Since then, he has been an active partner in the venture. Harrington has collaborated with other former athletes such as JR Smith as well.
