“Don’t count us out,” 4x NBA All-Star Devin Booker said to Phoenix fans after their Game 2 loss on Tuesday. Kevin Durant had a similar request to the fans. But the Suns have disappointed once again. Being at home didn’t seem to help the team as the Minnesota Timberwolves once again managed a comfortable 126-109 win last night. As if the loud sound of fans booing at the Footprint Center wasn’t enough, NBA fans and veterans are now taking their time to share their opinions on social media.

Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce isn’t impressed with how the OGs are playing in the playoffs. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers’ defeat also has its part in it and so does Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors missing out on the postseason altogether. To taunt all the OG’s performance, Pierce took to his X handle and wrote, “All the OGs going to Cancun early damn.”

Despite the best performance by the star trio of Durant, Booker, and Bradley Beal, the all-around team effort by the Suns wasn’t enough to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves. On the other side of the coin, it’s quite merry and bright. For the first time, the Timberwolves hold a 3-0 lead in a playoff series.

Paul Pierce’s former teammate and Minnesota icon Kevin Garnett also took to his X to appreciate the Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards. Garnett wrote, “@theantedwards_ BREAK EVERY RECORD.”

The Big Ticket had to give the 22-year-old his flowers now that he had tied one of his records. However, they weren’t the only former Celtics stars who were left impressed by Edwards’ performance.

Edwards’ contribution was significant to the game. At just the age of 22, AntMan has already made a franchise record for elite offensive production in the playoffs. He scored 36 points against the Suns on Friday. With his seventh 30-point playoff game, he has tied Garnett’s franchise record for most 30-point games.

Speaking of Edwards’ performance, Perkins wrote, “Anthony Edwards ain’t asking or waiting for the torch to be passed. He walked into Kevin Durant’s house, snatch that mf off the table and walked out the front door.” Edwards talked about his phenomenal performance to ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt, “I just want to kill everything in front of me,”
