Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa opened up about how she might have had a role to play in the soured friendship.

Scottie Pippen went through a nasty divorce with Larsa Pippen in which she made away with half of his retirement fund. She goes on to date Marcus Jordan, MJ’s son. Moreover, he is 16 years younger than her. Now a single meme has put it into perspective, much to the amusement of fans.

The Real Housewives of Miami star is hosting a podcast with her beau, Marcus, where they got candid about their relationship. But it was another podcast appearance where she admitted to causing a rift between Scottie and Michael.

She told host, Jana Kramer that despite the popular assumption, she didn’t know Marcus his entire life. She had not been with Scottie around his last year with the Chicago Bulls and was in school when Scottie was at the prime of his career. She would meet Marcus only as an adult.

But to everyone’s shock, Larsa stated she had not met the Jordan family until after her split from Scottie. In fact, she only met MJ 3 years ago. Despite being in the clear, Larsa is well-aware that she has a part in the feud between the former teammates.

“I feel like it’s probably awkward for them, for my ex, and [Michael], but I get it,” she said.

Larsa and Marcus’ relationship is only one of the factors in the whole drama between former teammates. That hasn’t stopped the online commentary and they continue to be subjected to the meme treatment.

The timeline is not lost on anyone who has been keeping up with this complicated web of ex-friendships and relationships. But the NBA Memes Twitter page made a simple post on it that gave it a visual aid. The tweet carried a single line, “The NBA back in the 90s.” It accompanied a collage of two pictures taken around the same time.
