Wilkins said, “I think that the NBA has done a fabulous job of putting educational tools in place and opportunities to regulate the agents and to also give them financial tools that they can invest in their lives now ultimately it’s up to that individual. You know, what do you want to do? Because the NBA can’t control that. Your financial advisors and you know your closest family wants to see you prosper as the years go on.” Dominique also revealed in that interview that his former agent stole a massive $600,000 from him in the past.
