On the show’s December 4 episode, Sherri stole the spotlight as she kicked off the game with some serious flirting with Shaq. And Shaq does what we expect of him. And Hervey? He was left speechless.

It all began when Shaq’s and Sherri’s families faced off for the holiday-themed episode. Host Steve Harvey called them both up to start the game. But Sherri wasn’t going to miss her chance to make an impression.

“Can I shake his hand?” she asked Harvey, who gave her the go-ahead. Sherri rushed over to Shaq to give him a big hug. As the two embraced, Steve couldn’t get over how big their height difference was (Sherri is 5’1″ while Shaq towers over her at 7’1″). Though he chuckled at first, Steve knew Sherri intended to hold on to Shaq for a while.

“Hey, hey, hey, hey—we got a game to play, Sherri!” Harvey finally exclaimed, trying to get the show back on track. But the laughs didn’t stop there. Shaq couldn’t resist chiming in. “I say one thing: once you go Shaq, you never go back. Be careful.” Sherri, never one to miss a beat, shot back, “You go with Sherri, you gonna feel like the tooth fairy!” The crowd roared as Shaq burst into laughter. And Harvey? Let’s just say words failed him.

As the show went on, Sherri and Shaq kept the comedy rolling. When Harvey asked Sherri, “Last person in your life you wanna get caught under the mistletoe with?” she replied without hesitation, “Is an animal a person?” Cue Shaq agreeing, “It is!” and Harvey’s exaggerated roar in response—it was chaos, yet pure entertainment.

But one thing is sure, Sherri was waiting for her chance like this for quite some time.

As Shepherd continued gushing, she pulled up a photo of Shaq with his then-rumored girlfriend, prompting another round of hilarity. “How do you go to bed with the women you’re with?” she joked. “Shaquille O’Neal is seven-foot-one, and his girlfriend Nischelle Turner is five-seven. His ex-girlfriend Hoopz? Just five-two!”

However, Shaq always said he and Turner have a platonic relationship. But one thing is obvious: Sherri loves to talk about Shaq, one way or another.
