John Salley offered a bizarre marriage contract analogy

The court has finally approved the order of Larsa and the 6-time NBA champion’s agreement of alimony. Following the approval on June 16, 2023, the Real Housewives of Miami star is entitled to get 50% of her ex-husband’s retirement fund. The agreement also gives both of them the legal custody of their children.

As soon as the news was made official, people haven’t stopped talking. While social media is flooded with various opinions, Salley, siding with the NBA legend, presented his unique analogy and stated, “I think marriage should be a seven-year contract. In the sixth year, that’s your playoff.”

He added, “I think that year because in health and wellness every cell in your body every seven years, there is a replacement, you’re a new person every seven years. I am just telling you every seven years if you get married you should start to seven years and you should negotiate that way your contract prenup should be a seven-year deal which they are.”
