Oscars 2024: Clad in Versace, Dwyane Wade’s Latest Creation Makes Its Red-Carpet Debut

Dwyane Wade is at the Oscars 2024, as an executive producer. Yes, the 3 time NBA champion has embraced his life after basketball and channeled himself into new ventures. Wade has taken a few notes about Hollywood from his actress-wife Gabrielle Union. The 42-year-old during his interview took a sly dig at her wife. Saying “Me and my wife always wanted to come to the Oscars. We wanted to have a reason to be here, one of us have a project here…I’m the first one to to bring us, so I’m happy about that.”

After a few hours, Dwyane Wade was seen at the Vanity Fair afterparty, where he was flaunting his Versace style with the Wade 11. GQ Sports posted on Instagram D-Wade’s look and he was explaining what he was wearing.“GQ sports I love you guys right now we are on the carpet of Vanity Fair this is the after-party. I am wearing from head to toe Versace and at the toe I am wearing my new signature sneakers, my Wade 11. Take a little peek. First time out here in America wearing them. But how y’all like the Versace?”

Dwyane Wade’s and Versace’s Collaboration

In 2023 Dwyane Wade was seen as the fresh face of Versace’s eyewear collection. The partnership continued in 2024 when the new campaign was launched. In a Q&A by Versace Wade spoke about why he chose the brand, “It’s a full world and lifestyle that Versace creates — clothes, bags, eyewear, homeware, fragrance, couture, kids wear and more.“

Further, he also explained how he respects Donatella and her work ethic. Plus the work she puts onto community building. “Donatella is such an inspiration in that way. She’s been at the top of her game since the start. Also, she and everyone at Versace have demonstrated such love and support of the LGBTQ+ community in so many ways and over such a long time. It is a community I care for and support passionately myself, and I’m glad to share this with Versace.”
