When he was asked to name the toughest player to defend, Kobe said, “Kevin Durant. That was the one that I retired without really being able to figure out what it is-how can I stop him.”

Recently, when a fan asked the 13x All-Star how that praise made him feel, his response was predictable. He tweeted, “I felt like I was doing something right.”

KD has previously mentioned that he has been able to develop and thrive due to the constant compliments and support showered on him by his peers. He even claimed that it’s the validation from his fellow players that keeps him going. Among the greatest players who have appreciated Durant for his outstanding performance and amazing skills, there’s also Michael Jordan.
