Big Diesel has established himself in the city through multiple ventures and is aspiring to do even more. Shaq’s comedy fest is now at Vegas Strip

Starting 2024, Shaquille O’Neal is adding something extra to Las Vegas’ entertainment scene. His stand-up comedy show, All Star Comedy Jam, is coming to the Resorts World Theater on February 10, 2024. The tickets go on sale to the public starting October 20, 2023.

The announcement came from O’Neal’s company, Jersey Legends Productions, and collaborator, Hartbeat. The All Star Comedy Jam originally began in 2009 with the NBA legend and Cedric the Entertainer at the helm. The stand-up event returns with a new lineup every time. Aries Spears was memorable in particular for his en pointe imitations of Shaq and Kobe Bryant.

This time, the venue enhances the experience. The screen is inside the Resorts World Las Vegas, the most expensive piece of property ever developed in the city. Resort World completed construction at the Las Vegas Strip in 2021 and was valued at $4.3 billion. It’s the place to be.

Shaquille O’Neal wants to be Vegas team owner

Las Vegas could potentially be the next city to have its own NBA team. Despite its fame as an entertainment capital, it’s missing from the league.

In fact, LeBron James is already inclined to bring the NBA expansion team to Vegas after retiring from his playing career. And Shaq is determined to upset him.

He expressed his desire to own the Vegas expansion team but he wants to do it alone with no partners. In the meantime, he’s making a mark on the city. This is where Big Chicken originated and is only one of the few businesses he owns here.

O’Neal recently curated and launched Shaq’s Fantasy Labs and hosted his annual fundraiser, The Event in Sin City.

The return of the All Star Comedy Jam in the most expensive venue of the city establishes Shaq as the entertainment mogul here. Enabling the sports scene here would be the highlight of that. What do you think about Shaq’s presence here?
