Michael Jordan was not a part of Eminem’s daughter’s wedding, but his legacy definitely made it to the big day. The 51-year-old rapper’s daughter recently tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend, Evan McClintock. Although MJ was not a part of the ceremony, it was Eminem who made Mike’s presence felt.

The Nice Kicks’ Instagram account posted photos from the wedding, featuring Marshall Mathers wearing Air Jordan 3 ‘White Cement Re-imagined.’ “Eminem celebrated his daughter’s wedding day in the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Re-Imagined” 👰‍♀️💍✨… The rapper and his daughter @hailiejade shared a special father-daughter dance surrounded by close friends and family🥹🤍,” read the caption to the post.

Notably, the 51-year-old rapper has had multiple collaborations with Michael Jordan’s brand over the years. One of the initial ones includes Air Jordan IV ‘Encore’ — a limited edition design celebrating the album Encore’s release. The sneakers featured the album title on a gray and blue color scheme, but the 2017 version of the same was released with a different shade of gray.

Other collaborations between Eminem and the Jordan brand include Air Jordan Retro 2 ‘The Way I Am’ in 2008 and Carhartt x Air Jordan 4 ‘Shady Records’ in 2015. So Eminem donning a pair of sneakers from the Jordan series at his daughter’s wedding surely rekindled the old ties of collaboration, for the fans at least.

As stated above, the 28-year-old married her boyfriend, Evan McClintock, a software developer. The same age as Hailie, McClintock is an Enterprise Growth Executive at Scout CMS — a software development firm in Michigan. Apart from this, he is also on the board of directors at BMC Capital and Technology Limited.

The couple had met during their Michigan State University days. After six years of dating, the two announced their engagement through an Instagram post in February 2023. Coming to the wedding ceremony, Hailie mentioned on her social media handle that the whole thing could not have been better.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had & so much love was felt…” she stated. The photos from the wedding also showed Eminem having a father-daughter dance during the ceremony. As for the guest list, some of the notable appearances included 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, and Jimmy Iovine.
