Move over, Scorsese. There’s a new sheriff in Tinseltown. Natalia Bryant sat in the director’s chair for a new production at her college. Of course, no one matches the proud scale as much as her family. Vanessa Bryant was gushing about her director daughter on social media after her successful debut.

Kobe Bryant‘s eldest daughter is an athlete and a model. Now she’s the director of a stage production at USC too. After the first show, Vanessa shared pictures from the curtain call and also posed with the director of the show.

She said she’s a “Proud Mama” in one post. In case it’s not clear enough, she tagged Natalia to say, “Proud of you…” along with “directorial debut.” Vanessa later shared an Instagram post about her multi-hyphenate star. Natalia’s little sisters were there at her show too to give her hugs along with the giant flower bouquets everyone got her. Vanessa shared the photograph of Bianka hugging her too.

“I’m so proud of you @nataliabryant !!!” Vanessa wrote. “You’ve balanced school, friends, family, your sorority, your internship, your modeling jobs, runway debut, and film responsibilities & projects! You still find time to be present and responsible for everything you do and show up for every family event your schedule permits you to attend. I cannot express how proud we are of you. We love you so much. Proud mom, dad and sisters for sure! #directorialdebut @uscedu #SmartBeauty.”

No updates on what the directorial project is but it was a long time coming for Natalia. She’s a film major at the University of Southern California, a passion that was born from her movie nights with her late dad. Kobe Bryant was turning to his love for cinema in his later years and won an Oscar for his animated short, Dear Basketball.

Since enrolling in USC, Natalia has represented her family at Hollywood events and equally been optimistic about her showbiz dreams. She didn’t specify whether she’d be in front or behind the camera but it’s most definitely happening. She’s already got the attention of most of Hollywood.

Vanessa has expressed her pride in her 20-year-old every step of the way. She’s not kidding about the hard work she’s put in either.

Signed with IMG Models, Natalia Bryant is the latest NBA scion making a splash in the fashion industry. Less than a week ago, she was hard at work modeling for Chanel’s accessory line.

While supporting her mom through the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation and her multiple modeling gigs, she’s maintaining a normal life as a student. One of her main roles is as a big sister which showed with absolute cuteness on Bianka’s birthday on December 5.
