The skills and prowess through which His Airness dominated the basketball court wasn?t the only reason that he was a fan favorite in the 90s. Another big factor was his personality. ?OLDSKOLLBBALL?, a handle with over 34600 followers, recently uploaded a video of the 6x NBA champion. It started off with a journalist asking Jordan whether he was ?still in the zone??. In return, he got a response, ?I don?t know. I see my first shot.?

The clip then switched to the footage of Game 2 of the 1997 first-round matchup against the Washington Bullets (now Wizards). Jordan kept dominating left and right as he scored 55 points on the night. In between the game recording, viewers get a glimpse of an interview featuring former Washington Wizards star Chris Webber. Recalling a moment that took place before the game, Webber talked about an intimidation strategy adopted by His Airness.

As Webber and his teammates arrived at the venue on a bus, MJ arrived in his $259,577 worth Ferrari 512 TR. The nameplate ?M ? AIR ? J? easily highlighted the owner of the wheels. He parked it beside the bus so that his opposition could get a good glimpse. ?We?re getting off the bus. He?s (Jordan) smoking a cigar. He?s like ?Who?s going to check me??? said Webber during the interview.

Soon after, the clip switched back and kept highlighting clip after clip of Jordan getting the better of the Bullets. ?I just got into that mode and I couldn?t really get out of it,? said Jordan after the game. But what did MJ do in the game that is still talked about today?

With a cigar in hand and arriving at the venue in a Ferrari, not many would have anticipated that the following match would go down in history as one of Jordan?s best.

Being in his ?unstoppable zone?, Jordan would go on to shoot 62.9% from the field and trick his opponents from time to time to get the ball through the hoop. Out of the last 23 points scored by the team, the 14x NBA All-Star scored 20 of them.

The Bulls would eventually win the game by a score of 109-104. Jordan scored a whopping 55 points, accompanied by 7 rebounds and 2 assists. The tally accumulated by Air Jordan that night remains the most scored by a Bulls player at the United Center to this date.
