Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce were one of the most dangerous player-duos in the NBA during their prime. Their NBA championship run in 2008 for the Boston Celtics will go down in NBA history as one of the most dominant championship runs of all time. Recently, NFL legend Deion Sanders’s sons issued a ‘2v2’ basketball challenge to the Boston Celtics legend.

In a recent Instagram post, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce contemplated the challenge.

Kevin Garnett instantly says, “What are you talking about?” To which Shilu Sanders replies, “We get physical though.”. The startled ‘Big Ticket’ asked Shilu, “How tall are you though?”. Shilu Sanders replied, “It doesn’t matter.”. The college NFL player insinuated that he’s younger, faster, and stronger than the NBA Hall of Famers. Paul ‘The Truth’ Pierce warned Shilu Sanders, “I’ve got that grown man strength now. I didn’t have this kind of strength back in the NBA.”.

The Boston Celtics legends’ trash talk game is still on point to this day. They, honestly, seemed like they were ready for the ‘2v2’ at that very moment. Kevin Garnett almost seemed offended that Shilu Sanders thought that he could beat the legendary Boston Celtics duo.

Coach Prime is a legendary NFL Hall of Famer who shined in two professional sports, NFL and MLB. After his retirement from the NFL, Deion ‘Prime’ Sanders took on the role of ‘Coach Prime’ as head coach at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has three sons, two of whom went on to play college football. His eldest son is a successful entrepreneur and owner of the luxury brand “Well Off“. His two other sons, Shilu and Shedeur Sanders are currently the Defensive Back and the Quarterback respectively, for Coach Prime’s college team, the Colorado Buffaloes.

Despite the Sanders brothers’ athletic skill sets, it is extremely hard to believe that they would pose an actual threat to Kevin, the Boston Celtics legends.
