With the Oscars being the talk of the town, Indian Pacers legend Reggie Miller decided to host his own show with personalized awards for some NBA entities. The modern game has some of the best players, but also amazing actors. When the game is on the line or when there’s a desperate need for a foul call from the referee, some players bring the best out of their performance. Fans have usually mocked superstars like James Harden, LeBron James, and Joel Embiid for selling a foul. However, Reggie Miller had someone else in mind.
The famous three-point shooter decided to go with Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, for the category of ‘Best Actor’. Well, this award is not just for Jokic’s act on the court, but also for his heroics in this season so far. The MVP frontrunner has been the anchor for the Nuggets and this is one way that Miller has conveyed it.
The Pacers icon had a few more accolades to dish out as well. Miller gave the ‘Best Picture’ to the Boston Celtics, who have reached the 50-win mark this season. The TD Garden has been houseful, so it’s a fair choice by him. The 58-year-old also gave the ‘Best Director’ to Mark Daigneault, for his impressive coaching display for the Oklahoma City Thunder this year. Looks like Miller is hinting at the regular season awards in advance.

Again, it’s a fair choice! They have been unstoppable at the top of the Eastern Conference. With 18 games to go, the Celtics have a chance to reach the 60-win mark. The most wins by a Celtics team in a single season is 68. It was accomplished by the Boston unit during the 72-73 season. Well, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have a chance of tying this record, but it would be a tough nut to crack. However, Miller believes the Celtics can accomplish something bigger, and that’s a championship!
