There’s no NBA star without their own sneaker journey. Dwyane Wade’s just happens to be more controversial than most. He’d do something that NBA pros never did before and swim against the current. But Dwyane Wade is reinforcing his once much-touted partnership with an exciting throwback.
Wade jumped the sneaker ship a few times before expanding his own business. He had a three-year partnership with Michael Jordan’s brand. In the past, Wade and a certain Hollywood star featured in one of the best Team Jordan commercials ever. Perhaps Wade is hinting at something by bringing this commercial back.

Dwyane Wade suited up for this classic Jordan commercial
Dwyane Wade has been sharing several cool glimpses from his Hall of Fame celebration. Within hours of the ceremony, he shared another exciting clip online. The original post is a throwback to one of his old commercials. Many might’ve forgotten that The Flash starred in a super cool action-style two-part commercial for the Jordan Brand. Titled Dominate Another Day (a play on the Bond movie), this commercial starred Wade and Kevin Hart.
It introduced the Air Jordan 2011, back when Wade was part of the brand pre-retirement. Hart played ‘H’ like James Bond’s M. With some hilarious remote assistance from H, Wade demonstrated some spy suave to make it in time for basketball practice.

Wade did everything, from escaping from cuffs to jumping across a snake pit with all the panache of an NBA pro. All while Hart nagged him for being a no-show at his party.
There were two parts to Dominate Another Day. Wade shared the first commercial on his stories reminding fans of it.
Given his recent background, this has raised a lot of questions.
Is Wade hinting at a continuation?
D-Wade has enjoyed success with several ventures. But his sneaker history had its highs and lows. He originally started with Converse, then switched to Nike under the Jordan Brand, sporting the latest incarnation of Air Jordans in public.

Then shortly after the release of the second part of Dominate Another Day, Wade ended a three-year successful run by divorcing with the $165 billion Nike in 2012. He switched to a startup brand, Li-Ning for $10 million, more than what the Jordan Brand was offering at that time.

He even held an executive role at the Chinese sneaker-maker. But fans didn’t receive the news well.
Meanwhile, he’d have a little more success with his own subsidiary brand, the Way of Wade. Before, NBA players would switch loyalties between titans like Adidas and Nike. But Wade’s independent venture paved the way for other pros to step out of the same sneaker box. Notably, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler would sign with Wade’s brand instead of an established one.
