In the game against the New York Knicks at the United Center, former teammates came up in support. But D-Rose too had plans of his own. To share his love for the city that showered him with immense respect, he came up with an idea that no NBA player has ever done. Result? He won the hearts of not only his fans but also former rival’s.

Kevin Garnett shared the story on his Instagram, saluting Rose for this one-of-a-type giveaway. “It’s up 🫡💯🌹 Broooooooooo🫡👏🏿👏🏿😤😤😤🌹🌹🌹🌹😤😤😤😤😤.” The former champion added the post which had the details about the Bulls icon’s flower shop.

Rose’s Flower Shop, a one-day pop-up flower by Chicago Bulls legend Derrick Rose opened at 350 N State Street today in Chicago. The pop-up is running from noon to 4 p.m., but as you can see from the video, the line is incredibly long. In fact, we were told that someone lined up as early as 6:30 p.m. last night to get a spot at the front.

Yes, Derrick Rose even shot a commercial for the same to inform the fans about the pop-up. As the post suggested, the fans came in large numbers, even forming the line from the previous day just to get a glimpse of their native hero. It’s not the first time the $130 million worth Boston Celtics legend has shared his love for Pooh.

Legends of the game honor Derrick Rose

It was an emotional night when the Bulls hosted their number-one pick from 2008 for a special evening. From the next season, the franchise also announced that #1 would be hanging in the rafters! An honor that has only been bestowed upon four Bulls players: Jerry Sloan’s No. 4, Bob Love’s No. 10, Scottie Pippen’s No. 33, and Michael Jordan’s No. 23.
