The 4x NBA champion recently talked about finally kickstarting his lifelong dream project. Parker said that this new business and its challenges are making him feel like a rookie again.
He said, “I felt like a rookie. I’m hands-on, and I love to be part of that tradition.” The Hall of Famer said that he has been dreaming about this business for a very long time and it’s finally a reality for him. He said, “Since age 20, I’ve dreamt of being in the wine business.” The 41-year-old said that his passion for this business has been on the backseat for a very long time because he was pursuing greatness, playing the sport he considers to be his “first love.” So, after a HoF-worthy career, it was time to get back to the boyhood dream, and the NBA veteran didn’t hesitate in admitting that it’s exhaustive work.
