Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen made headlines when it was revealed that he broke an unspoken team rule for his ex-wife, Larsa Pippen. Obviously, it was years before the two got divorced. In an interview with DJ Vlad, Pippen’s close friend and former teammate, John Salley, revealed that the former couple used to share the same plane emphasizing the oddity and how far Pippen used to go for his ex-wife. However, famed comedian and rapper Aries Spears understood Pippen’s actions.

While it wasn’t a strict rule, it was generally considered unusual for players to bring their spouses or partners along on work trips. The situation raised eyebrows but Spears took a different stance and defended Scottie’s actions. During his latest appearance in an interview with DJ Vlad, Spears expressed his belief that Scottie’s decision was rooted in his deep love for his ex-wife. “That must have been when he was in love.”

Salley had previously said, “She was always on the road, always going places with them. She needs that up close tight validation.” Scottie and Larsa tied the knot in 1997, and as per many accounts, couldn’t be separated. It was a far cry from how the couple got divorced more than 2 decades later.

Nevertheless, Spears wasn’t done defending Scottie yet. When he was asked about his opinion on Larsa Pippen’s bold statement on her s*x life with Marcus, he also brought the 6x champion into the conversation.

In a reunion episode of The Real Housewives of Miami last year, the mother of four made headlines by revealing intimate details about her s*x life with ex-husband Scottie. She claimed that they were intimate four times a night during their relationship. However, Larsa suggests the number has increased with her current boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, who also happens to be the son of Scottie’s former teammate, Michael Jordan.

In an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the RHOM actress shared, “I also have s*x probably five times a night with the love of my life.” Agreeing with his girlfriend, Marcus added, “I’m very competitive so I like to stay ready.” However, Spears wasn’t convinced with the statement.

He stated how the comment was made to mess with the 6x champion. “This is the richest, pettiest TV show I’ve ever seen.” He added, “The fact that she would even mention that she f**** this kid five times a day that’s so a trying to get under Pippen’s skin.”
