Scottie Pippen has finally stepped into the spotlight. After notably being missing from the ‘Ring of Honor’ event, the Chicago Bulls legend made his first public appearance since at his son’s biggest battle of this week. As the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers geared up to battle against the star-studded and powerful roster of Notre Dame, the 58-year-old also came out to cheer for his son, Justin Pippen. Notre Dame is one of the top-ranked teams in the nation. Naturally, it was an important game for both Justin and the Trailblazers.

The crew at the Sierre Canyon High School in Chatsworth, California, were quite excited to have the legend at the game. A snap of Pippen from the game has started to make rounds on the internet. One post was captioned, “The top Pippen is in the house.” After finalizing his divorce from ex-wife Larsa Pippen, the two have been co-parenting their four kids. Both are also often seen at their sons’ games to support them.

Pippen’s 19-year-old son has been already making waves with his skills and talent. When paired with LeBron James’ son Bryce James, the two become almost invincible. They have portrayed the same power throughout this season as they’ve led the Trailblazers to a 23-1 record this season, winning 18 in a row ahead of tonight’s nationally televised matchup.

Sierra Canyon beat Notre Dame

In what promised to be one of the most captivating clashes, it showcased a constellation of star powers. Leading the Knights was star guard Mercy Miller. He is the son of the revered rapper Master P. On the opposing side, the Trailblazers boast their own dynamic duo. Notably, Sierra Canyon faced a disappointing defeat back in March 2023, suffering an 80-61 loss to Notre Dame.

The Trailblazers finally broke Notre Dame’s unbeaten streak as they beat the Knights 81-75. With that Sierra Canyon reached a 24-1 record and the number one seeded for the Mission League Tournament. As usual, Pippen showcased his prowess as he scored 19 points. The Knights may have lost, but Miller had a great performance, scoring 28 points.
