Chicago Bulls legend Pip’s kids are all grown up. He is a proud father of seven. His son Scotty thrives in the NBA, while his youngest, Justin, has committed to the University of Michigan. His eldest daughter, with whom he reportedly doesn’t share a close relationship, is also making waves. After a great run in sports, she joined a company in a finance role. And now she’s stepping into a new field.

Taking to Instagram, the 30-year-old shared that she has signed with the modeling agency 10MGMT. According to 2023 data, the modeling agency market profits around USD 72 billion annually. Although Taylor has already signed the contract, it’s unclear whether she has joined as a model or recruiting agent. But what is clear is her excitement about it all; “CONGRATS TO TAYPIPPEN WHO SIGNED HER CONTRACT WITH 10MGMT TODAY,” she reshared a post on her IG story.

As per Taylor’s LinkedIn, she previously worked as a vice president at JP Morgan Chase. Before that role, she played professional volleyball. She studied at Carmel Catholic High School and spent most of her time in Illinois. After joining Southern Illinois University in 2012, she quickly became known for her part in the volleyball team. 

As Pippen’s daughter, she recognizes the high expectations on her shoulders. However, she once admitted that she doesn’t know much about the basketball legend’s life as a father.

She has always been dedicated to excelling in her sports career and continues to strive for success. During an appearance in a recent podcast appearance, she said, “I was known as Scottie Pippen’s daughter in sports, but that made me more determined to be good at sports because I didn’t want that. I just wanted to be Taylor Pippen.”

While she seems to admire her father, Taylor might not have gotten much time to know the basketball legend as her father. Born to Scottie Pippen‘s ex-partner, Sonya Roby, Taylor was brought up by her mother. Roby held full custody of her daughter since the 6x NBA champion had initially denied paternity of the girl.

Interestingly, Taylor also had a twin sister, Tyler. But unfortunately, Tyler passed away in the hospital sometime after her birth. Later, Scottie accepted the DNA test results and took financial responsibility for his child.

In an interview with Spanish news outlet El Mundo in 2016, Taylor shared, “He never wanted to meet me. He decided that it [would be] like that and I prefer not to think about the matter too much,”

In the interview, the 30-year-old further shared, “I know how much my last name weighs, I know that people expect a lot from me, but, after all these years, I have learned that Pippen is just that, a last name.”

Taylor also once had the opportunity to meet her father, as a picture of her posing alongside the Chicago Bulls legend Pippen and her sibling exists on her IG handle. It does look like it was a happy moment for Pippen.
