In July this year, one of the oldest churches in Houston suffered major damage due to the impact of Hurricane Beryl. Pastor Keion Henderson and other members looked after the repair work, and in two months, Lighthouse Church was back. Even Shaunie, the first lady of the church, shared the update. And during the festival season, the church is giving back to the community, and it’s not for the first time.

Shaunie Henderson also shared the post on her story and added a sticker of giving season. As per the video, 127 kids were in Houston and 100 nationwide. Plus, at the end of the video, they shared that 19 states were represented during this celebratory movement. Being parents, Shaunie Henderson and Keion also gave a give card to the kid’s parents. Shaunie stated that a $10 gift card from Starbucks was given to parents so even they enjoy their peace while the kids went shopping. As stated before, it was not the first time they did this.

During Thanksgiving week, the Lighthouse Church once again helped the people in need. A 2008 NBA champ partnered up with Keion and Shaunie Henderson to spread joy at the festival by giving back to the community. The Boston Celtics star extended a heartfelt thanks to Pastor, the First Lady, and the Lighthouse Church family for their unwavering love and support.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it’s all about giving. And that’s exactly what we did this Sunday.” Kendrick Perkins didn’t just celebrate Thanksgiving this year but brought its spirit to life. As per The Katy News, 300 families in Houston received packages that reportedly had meal kits, complete with turkeys, sides, and desserts.

After spending a perfect gateway in Dubai, Keion and Shaunie Henderson were back, taking care of the others. Even though the tragedy of the hurricane caused some delay, the couple and the church family bounced back. And now continue to serve others.
