Guess we know who has the biggest heart in the States. Without a doubt, it’s Shaquille O’Neal’s. Now the $500 million worth NBA legend has a giving nature. We know that, but there is always more to the general stories you hear all the time. Since 1997, Shaq-a-Claus has brought joy to underprivileged youth nationwide, delivering tens of thousands of toys, clothing, meals, and more. But this time, Christmas came a bit early for the 53-year-old. And this time, it was slightly personal, slightly more special, and definitely inspirational for Shaq.

Tucked in El Paso, Texas, an undefeated professional boxer and TikTok influencer caught the Big Shamrock’s attention. Many people know Dominic Barry for many reasons. Not just his punches and ring antics, but his dedication to his community and family has turned him into a prominent name. However, his 6-year-old daughter, Nalah, who is also an MMA fighter, has stolen all the spotlight lately. And yes, little Nalah’s feisty mode in the arena didn’t slip away from Shaquille O’Neal’s eyes.

Instead, Shaq flew out the Barry to New York for a grand gesture. “I said I’m about to make history. I’m about to offer this little girl her own shoe deal. How does that sound?” The Los Angeles Lakers legend spoke on camera, as Dominic’s team captured every moment for his YouTube channel. Interestingly enough, the 53-year-old hooping giant didn’t know the little girl until recently when she kept appearing on his Instagram feed.

“So, I’m on Instagram all the time and you’re a great daddy. I was watching her story and I just kept watching it. I kept watching, saw your story. So, then I was like, I want support, so you told me how much you need. So, Galaxy is gonna give you 10,000. I’m gonna give you 10,000,” Shaquille told Barry. “And then I owe you five for the knockout. We just wanted to bring you here today, give your baby some gifts, guys. And on behalf of Galaxy and Shaq, thank you for coming, and love you to wear our stuff and love the poster, and just keep doing what you’re doing.”

Shaquille O’Neal further added, “I don’t want nothing; I want you to keep winning. I’m happy for you, okay? And we’re going to give you your own shoe. I’m going to have my guy make up some mockups, put this on the shoe, and then probably offer y’all a little shoe deal. I’ll let them talk about all that stuff. But I want to offer you your own little shoe. Think about it, okay?” Thus offering little Nalah her pair of exclusives, or rather mockups of what she’s about to receive soon, the 7’1 giant stole hearts once again.

Now, just because Shaq’s being charitable doesn’t mean his business ventures are stagnant. The brain and brawn that once terrorized the NBA with power moves and backboard-breaking dunks now drive expansion. Now O’Neal uses his brain and heart to do things that interest and inspire him. Signing Dominic Barry’s daughter for her own shoe deal is just an example of the same. Now, while the world applauded the former basketball star for his kindness, he signed a new deal. Massive one, to say the least.
