This was coming as soon as Taahirah became a Georgia Peach. Now that Shaquille O’Neal has his firstborn close by, daddy-daughter dates are a regular affair. They’ve gone holiday shopping, more than a few ‘Take Your Daughter to Work’ days, and embarrassed each other on social media. Now finally we’re seeing Shaq enjoy his favorite kind of R&R with Taahirah. Though we don’t see the 27-year-old’s side of the date.

Taahirah shared a clip on her Instagram Stories writing, “Who doesn’t love a daddy/daughter date?” Thanks to Taahirah we have another addition to the ‘Shaq gets pedicures’ archive. The big man with size 22 feet looked very sympathetic to the esthetician who has him as a client.

Shaq revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that one of his three daughters painted his injured toe. “And I scored 40 points. So I just kept painting them.” So pedicures have become a regular indulgence as a way to “beautify” them.

He however is conscious of his self-labeled “ugly stinky” feet. In a 2017 viral video, the esthetician looked hassled with his ginormous feet. For the inconvenience, he makes sure to tip the nail tech an eye-popping $1,000. He reasoned the enormous amount stating, “because I know my feet stink, I know they’re ugly and I like to paint them,”

Taahirah moved from Houston to Atlanta during the 2023 holidays and Shaq is ecstatic to have one of his six kids close by. She’s tagged along with him to TNT and recordings of The Big Podcast multiple times. They also had numerous shopping and dinner dates where she saw her dad’s generosity firsthand. She might not be averse to a little nail maintenance herself which makes this the cutest Shaq-Taahirah date yet. But there’s somewhere Taahirah is not dipping her freshly made-up toes in.

Shaq’s best friend gets pampered too

Apparently, pedicures are a regular thing for the Inside Guys. Way back in 2012. TNT’s newest analyst, Shaq gave Chuck a birthday pedicure on live TV. And he didn’t even give him a generous tip for his services. Charles Barkley revealed he gets them too recently. That lede got buried in his rant about Galveston, Texas. Now Taahirah also shared a reminder about it.

It doesn’t seem like a coincidence that Taahirah followed up her daddy-daughter date update with a Reel of Galveston’s waters with a voiceover of Chuck roasting the city. Though he loved the people there, Barkley was figuratively scarred by the beach. “Gotta have steel-toed boots if you’re going on that beach in Galveston… Don’t want to mess up my pedicure.”

We’re pretty sure Chuck and Shaq don’t go on pedicure dates. We’re glad he now has Taahirah an arm’s length away to enjoy his favorite way of pampering.
