Shaquille O’Neal and Barkley were on the same show once again. Now before we draw any conclusion it was not Charles Barkley who appeared alongside Shaq. Barkley has spent the last few days playing golf and doubling down on his retirement talks. On the other end, O’Neal, on and about with his new anchoring gig in the off season, gave fans a reunion that was out of the box.

Appearing on Good Morning America, Shaquille O’Neal was not only promoting his new show but also Home Depot. On X, GMA tweeted, “His name is Barkley” 🤣 @SHAQ shows off Skelly’s best friend and rescue pup that will be available at Home Depot this Halloween!” Before speaking about Barkley, let’s talk about Skelly. For the Halloween season, the 12-foot-tall human skeleton was back on sale. And Skelly adopted a rescue puppy so Shaq got his creative juices running and named him after his best friend.

Shaquille O’Neal took a pause before saying, “His name is Barkley,” but the studio panelist did not take any second to burst out laughing. The immediate reaction was what everybody had when they heard the name. Lara Spencer did ask if the real Charles Barkley had any clue about this. To which Shaq replied, “ I don’t know a Charles, I just know a Barkley.

Apart from Barkley, fans can get their hands on a murderous maple tree, a Victorian vampire, and a trickster trio. Although Home Depot wanted to display the 5 ft seven inches dog, they never thought it would garner such virality. Thanks to the dynamic between Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley.

The bond was also in full effect on O’Neal’s Instagram, where the duo hilariously butchered a song. Shaq and his 34.9 million fans are used to seeing him try out the voiceover fails. This time he even pulled the real Charles Barkley with him to lip-sync the song, Last Stand by Kwabs. Is Shaq hinting at missing Barkley? Well, a few hours ago he also shared an Instagram post mocking yet adoring Barkley.

Shaquille O’Neal keeps up with mocking Charles

Slam N Dunk by EssentiallySports recently uploaded a clip with the caption, “Frustrated Charles = Funny Charles 😆😂.” The clip was from Chuck’s recent golf outing where he performed better than he has in a decade. In the clip, Chuck tried to hit a shot but ended up chunking it. Yes, Chunking means hitting a large section of grass instead of the ball and a furious Barkley appeared. Shaquille O’Neal took to his Instagram stories to reshare the clip.

Barkley can be seen saying, “God damn it, you fat f**k.” Chuck went about his business of adjusting the grass later as he finished the game in the 58th position after impressing fans with his form. From the ACC tournament, Barkley spoke to NFL Insiders and reiterated that he won’t be joining any new network.

Citing at his age, Chuck says he would rather reconnect with his grandkids rather than create a fresh bond with new colleagues. Shaq seems to be holding on to the jokes as the adored partnership coming to an end continues to prove more likely by the day.
