If you have seen Shaquille O’Neal on TNT, you can often find him under the Christmas tree during the jolly season. That’s the length he is willing to go just for some entertainment. However, not just being at the receiving end, the 4x NBA Champion can dish out some pranks of his own. Former teammate and current coach of the Clippers revealed one such hazing incident involving defecating and sneakers. Interestingly, Tyronn Lue recalled the incident involving Devean George, but Shaq is having none of those allegations.

“I most certainly did not @draymondshow @iambarondavis don’t listen to him this is what they call. #allegedly @bigpidcastwithshaq #thedraymondshow can’t believe he said that shhhhhhhh.” The Big Aristotle uploaded Lue’s post, narrating the incident on his Instagram and categorically denying such claims.

But what was the story?

“I remember one time he asked Devean George to do something, and Devean didn’t do it. So Shaq’s like ‘All right cool’. The night before we had a game Devean’s I think, on the court shooting, whatever he’s doing the training room, whatever. So Shaq goes in the stall and he takes a sh-t in Devean’s shoes,” Lue says in The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis.

Hearing this, the former said, “Ohhhh my God!” But the story gets crazier!

As per Lue, George came back from his training and “put his shoe on.” The former Lakers star even “stuck his foot in some…” We don’t need to describe the event further.

As stated previously, Shaquille O’Neal wants none of those allegations to his name. And it’s not the first time the current Clippers coach has told this story. The two-time NBA champion shared it on another podcast a few years ago, and at the time, Devean George revealed the truth.

Clearing the air: Did Shaquille O’Neal really prank Devean George?

Being a rookie and establishing yourself amongst the veterans is a hard job. Reportedly, even Michael Jordan suffered hazing during his All-Star game debut. Because Isiah Thomas allegedly did not want the young MJ to steal the limelight from the veterans. But in the case of Shaquille O’Neal and George, there was no such issue.

“Hell no, that’s a lie, that’s cap. And I know T-Lue started that.” The 3x NBA Champion exclusively spoke to TMZ in 2022. “That never happened! I think he did that to someone in Orlando. I don’t remember the dude’s name, but he did that in Orlando. But he never took a sh-t in my shoes.”

On various other occasions, George would even thank Shaquille O’Neal for making him adjust better to the NBA life. The 3x Finals MVP even gifted a Mercedes-Benz and a Rolex to his then-rookie. Maybe that’s why the Lakers legend responded to Lue’s claims at this time and wanted to put an end to any such accusations.
