The festive spirit of Christmas has begun to weave its magic over NBA legends as well. But for professionals like Shaquille O’Neal and Shaunie Henderson, this requires balancing time between their numerous ventures and of course, their loving children. For one part of the celebration, Shaq’s daughter Amirah O’Neal joined the Henderson couple.

As the Los Angeles Lakers legend enjoyed a playful cookie-decoration segment on TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’ show, his daughter also took part in festive preparations with her second family. Shaunie Henderson shared these heartwarming moments with her 1.8 million Instagram followers. 

Shaunie Henderson and Amirah O’Neal enjoy some festive “arts & crafts time”

After parting ways with Shaquille O’Neal in 2011, Shaunie re-married in 2022. The producer of Basketball Wives found love again, this time with Pastor Keion Henderson, lead pastor of The Lighthouse Church in Houston. Their relationship was embraced warmly by her children as well, who share a strong bond with their stepfather. 

As Christmas approaches, Shaunie shared a sneak peek into their festive preparations. She shared the clip on her IG story. The sight of her 22-year-old daughter actively participating in the holiday festivities with her second family was truly heartwarming to the fans. The collaborative efforts in creating massive cookies for the occasion were easily the highlight.

Both Henderson and his wife were busy making Christmas cookie houses. Alongside the story, Shaunie wrote, “amirahoneal came over and orchestrated Arts & Crafts time.” Shaunie also shared the final look of their Christmas cookie house on her IG story.

Similar to Amirah, her father also engaged in a captivating activity ahead of the celebration. The Big Aristotle and his TNT crew are often seen engaging in some entertaining tasks. Recently, the team was tasked with decorating a large cookie.

Shaquille O’Neal’s hilarious cookie mistake

Shaq, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith were given a task to decorate a massive cookie. They had to make a giant Christmas tree on it, with just 90 seconds on the clock.

While Barkley’s attempt turned out disastrous, O’Neal’s creative process wasn’t successful either. Starting with an icing-outlined tree, he went on to fill the interior with loose sprinkles and candy.  As one might expect, everything but the outline fell onto the table as soon as he tried to show it to the camera.
