Shaunie’s daughter, Me’Arah, from her previous marriage to Shaquille O’Neal, could not help but be moved by the sight of her mother and stepfather’s happiness. She commented on her mother’s post on social media.

The date, 11/11, invokes positivity and happiness for Shaunie Henderson. The reason behind that is she and her husband, Pastor Keion Henderson, got engaged on November 11, at 11:11 p.m. in 2021. This was in line with their practice of calling or texting each other at 11:11 every night, often to pray. She took to Instagram with a compilation of all the best moments of her past year.

“It’s 11/11….that’s it, that’s the post. My forever love @pastorkeion,” she wrote in a post set to SZA’s “Snooze.” She put together highlights from her and her husband’s trips, playing in their private jet, sailing during their vacation, red carpet outings, and all the fun things they’ve done together.

Pastor Keion couldn’t resist commenting, “I remember everyone [sic] one of these moments. I love you.” Their loved ones were in awe of these two, but none more so than their biggest cheerleader.

“Crying happy tears,” Me’Arah O’Neal commented under her mother’s post. She added a few emojis of holding back tears, completely moved by Shaunie and Keion’s romance.

11/11 is also symbolic of dreams. Me’Arah O’Neal has a  lot going on for her and she credits her family for her success.

Me’Arah has been doing her family proud. She’s showcased remarkable talent at the Nike showcase ahead of deciding on her college team. When ESPN caught up with her, she revealed that her parents helped her to become the top prospect she is today.

Despite their bitter split over a decade ago, Shaq and Shaunie remain a strong co-parenting unit. Me’Arah O’Neal effectively proved it while revealing that her natural talent on the court left the family stunned. Shaunie would reflect on how the shutdown put Me’Arah into a slump. That’s when Keion stepped in to build her a home court and was her 1v1 partner.

She has clearly made the best out of her family dynamic. All that remains to be seen is which team the fam is going to cheer for when she makes her college choice.
