Just when you think Shaq has run out of ways to surprise us, his daughter, Taahirah O’Neal, proves otherwise. It was not about basketball, business, or even music. This time, Shaq was stepping into a role unlike any other.

Taahirah shared a story on Instagram that was nothing short of hilarious. In the video, Shaq was seen in a luxurious royal outfit, complete with a crown that is fit for royalty. Taahirah could not contain her laughter and captioned the story, “Come get your uncle” making Shaq the undisputed king and our collective uncle and requesting us, his nieces and nephews to come get him. If you think Shaq was going for regal, he absolutely nailed ridiculous instead.

Shaq has never been one to move away from the spotlight, and his sense of humor is as legendary as his dominance in the paint. And let’s be real, this is not the first time we have seen Shaq pull off some crazy antics or play dress up. Believe it or not, this is not the first time Shaquille O’Neal has dressed up. Shaq once dressed up as Santa Claus, calling himself “Shaq-a-Claus” to spread holiday cheer. The NBA legend has long had a soft spot for larger-than-life personas, and never misses an opportunity to go all out.

One of his most memorable transformations was when Big Diesel jokingly declared himself the “Shaq-Fu Master,” in a reference to his short-lived but acclaimed martial-arts inspired video game. Shaq dressed in a full kung-fu outfit, fully committing to the bit proving that when Shaq picks up a character, he embodies it with all that he’s got.
