Lately, Shaquille O’Neal has been on the family business kick. He formed the O’Neal Boyz with Myles and brought Shareef to Reebok. Big Chicken was already all about his relationship with his mom and now he’s sharing it with his eldest, Taahirah. Shaq’s eldest daughter is ticking all the boxes to further her dad’s chicken empire. She’s even got content with her dad and grandma coming up. But if anyone thought this was for the long term, is sorely mistaken. Taahirah’s future goals are different.

The Oglethorpe graduate is on a little outdoorsy trip at a ranch in Georgia right now, sharing glimpses of it on her Instagram stories. In one of the pictures of a beautiful shallow rock pond, Taahirah wrote, “To know me is to know I truly do love the outdoors haha.” Anyone who follows her Instagram can tell too.

Taahirah is not a basketball-inclined O’Neal but she’s shared pictures from her hikes and travels. It won’t be an occasional thing in the future though. “I will own a farm in ten years. Mark my words.” A farmer O’Neal has a nice ring to it.

And Taahirah is a natural. She does find joy in little discoveries on the ranch like a perfect pomegranate tree. “Day made,” she called that discovery.

Taahirah shared more posts from her ranch day with a koi pond and a swim. She called it, “My happy place.” She used the famous scene from Just Another Girl on the I.R.T to say, “We’re getting our s— together.” And working on her farm dreams might just be it. But immediate on her agenda is Big Chicken.

Shaq’s daughter has big things at Big Chicken

Shaquille O’Neal and his business partners hosted the annual Go Big Conference this week where CEO Josh Halpern dished some exclusive news. Shaq filmed some unscripted Big Chicken-related content with his mom, Lucille, and daughter, Taahirah. Halpern emphasized they didn’t give them a script and told the O’Neals “you do you.”

It’s always fun when an O’Neal does just that. Taahirah shows she’s got Shaq’s business savvy genes and entertaining chops. But she’s also authentically herself. We’re finally going to see that outside a few Instagram Reels in her first content with Shaq coming this fall.

It will be a continuation of Taahirah’s involvement in the Big Chicken empire. She hosted a Friendsgiving event in the Houston store last year to support a local nonprofit. She also worked the floor as an employee. The Oglethorpe grad with a background in communications has been promoting Big Chicken too.
