Shaunie Henderson spent her birthday eve the way one should – doing a TikTok challenge. We’re sure it’s Me’Arah O’Neal’s idea because she was in it. They roped in Shaunie’s friends and gave every tween on social media a run for their money.

Shaunie would appropriately term her awesome moment, “Add “Hype-Woman” to my Resume.” The 49-year-old is throwing it down big time. But her sons had to rain on her parade.

Shaqir was the immediate response with a mean, “You gotta stop using tiktok.” It warranted a scolding from his mother under his comment. “Your a hater.”

Shaqir shouldn’t count on any sibling support and reinforcements from honorary family though. Because along with Me’Arah, Amirah was in the video too going off. Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada and Shaquille O’Neal’s old friend, Anthony C. Hall were right there in the comments with laughing emojis.

Shaqir is simply following the handbook of keeping parents humble. After all, his older siblings had to see their dad go rogue in Miami.

Shaquille O’Neal needed humbling

While Shaunie spent her birthday in Texas with her younger kids, Shareef O’Neal joined his eldest sister, Taahirah in Miami. Their dad, Shaq, was playing color commentator for the day at the Miami Heat game.

Amid basking in ‘Heat Culture,’ Shaq was asked for an inspirational quote. He provided, “Damn, I look good.” It is inspiring to look as suave as the big fella. However, Taahirah was on Instagram putting her dad and his cringe one-liners up for grabs.

One of Shaunie’s followers responded to Shaqir that it be your own kids. It really is, folks. Just ask Shaq and Shaunie.

It was while studying journalism that my friend would go on about the Warriors from Golden State. Keen on athletes' personas outside their arenas, it was Stephen Curry's confidence and philanthropy that drew me to follow the news on NBA pros and explore sports media.
