He’s one of the top DJs,” said Shaquille O’Neal about his son Myles O’Neal in a recent podcast. For years, O’Neal has been a pillar of support for his children, encouraging them to pursue their passions and dreams. Myles, in particular, has always had a deep connection to music, and his father has been there every step of the way, offering guidance and mentorship and this was quite visible during a Complex interview.

Myles is gearing up to perform at The Torch on November 9th. And his mother, Shaunie, couldn’t be prouder. Her recent Instagram response, where she lit up Myles’ announcement with fiery emojis, speaks volumes about her unwavering support for her son’s creative journey. This moment marks not just an exciting career milestone for Myles but also highlights the tight-knit bond he shares with his mother. “LOS ANGELES. THE TORCH. SAT NOV 9TH. I GO ON AT 5PM SHARP,” wrote Myles as the caption of his Instagram post.

The upcoming show is part of the 27-year-old’s ‘Flashlight Tour’ which has been sponsored by Monster Energy drink. Myles is steadily making a name for himself in the music space and has recently been releasing mixes and DJ sets that show off his musical style and one-of-a-kind sound.

Surprisingly, he started his career as a model but got into music last year when he released his first single Superficial, featuring Hadar Adora, which hit over 400k+ streams on Spotify. However, he got into EDM just last year and since then has opened shows for many artists like SIDEPIECE, Sickick, Chantal Jeffries, and NITTI.

For Myles, he has been lucky to have two pillars of strength in his life. Being an EDM artist himself who has performed at some of the top venues like Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and Electric Forest, Shaq has given a lot of insights into this field to his son. Just consider the time when the seven-footer tried explaining how the BPM on a turntable works. “I’ve seen him perform many times and he’s really good. I’m actually jealous, he’s really good,” said Shaq about Myles’ DJ skills.

On the other hand, Shaunie, too, has been an unwavering presence in her children’s lives, supporting each of their unique endeavors. Recently, she has cheered on her youngest, MeA’rah, and her son Shaqir, for their basketball journeys. Now, it’s Myles’ turn to shine, and Shaunie is right there, proud and beaming, to witness this exciting step.

I’m so proud of you Mylzie,” wrote Shaunie on Myles’ other Instagram post when he announced his Flash Light Tour for the first time.

Myles’ upcoming performance will undoubtedly be a defining moment in his career, and with both Shaquille and Shaunie’s continued support, he is set to make a lasting impact. However, this isn’t the only time when Shaunie has supported the young DJ. In fact, she has a request of her own.

Shaunie had a one-word request for Myles

Shaquille O’Neal’s son, Myles, has been making waves on his own, taking center stage not in sports, but in music. To build his name as a DJ, he signed with Monster Drinks just before his Flashlight Tour, which is valued at an impressive $52 billion, marking a milestone in his career.

Just a few days back, Myles made an Instagram post where he released the additional dates of his existing tour. “Back on the road this weekend for the Flashlight Tour with @monsterenergy 🔥 Drop your city in the comments if you want me to pull up there next! #monsterenergy #monstermusic,” read the caption. Amid the excitement, Shaunie asked Myles where she wanted him to perform next, “Houston.

Shaunie’s comment could have been speculated to be her manifesting to see her son perform live. Moreover, even Shanie’s current husband Keion Henderson commented three fiery emojis on Myles’ post. In the end, it can be said with Shaquille and Shaunie’s support, Myles is stepping into a bright future, using his platform to showcase his musical talent.
