EDM just became one of the official O’Neal family businesses. Shaquille O’Neal and his eldest son, Myles, have upgraded from collabs to a lit father-son DJ duo, the O’Neal Boyz. They made their debut at Tomorrowland’s Rave Cave as their Summer of Bass tour goes through Europe. Right after making history as the first family double-act in bass, Myles O’Neal headlined his own show in Croatia with Shaq providing some major DJ Diesel energy on the sidelines. This new duo and Myles’ thriving DJ career is thrilling the entire fam.

Of course leading the charge is the hypemom extraordinaire, Shaunie Henderson. The first lady of the Houston Lighthouse church was especially endeared when Myles mixed in gospel legend, Kirk Franklin’s music into his set. “When you DJ’n in Croatia and mix [Kirk Franklin],” she wrote on her Stories where she shared the post by Carpe Diem Beach.

That wasn’t enough for Shaunie. She added an additional, “That’s my boy!” and once again commented under the club’s post, “Thats my baby!!!” with a series of hearts.

Shaq and Myles went from London, to the Electric Castle in Romania, the Rave Cave, and then Carpe Diem Beach in Hvar, Croatia. Myles thanked the recent venue commenting, “MAGICAL NIGHT!” and thanked the festival organizers on Instagram.

His Hvar show was right after they debuted the O’Neal Boyz at Rave Cave. Until now, Shaq and Myles have collaborated on a few tracks, featured on festival lineups at the same time, and Myles has been Big Diesel’s opening act during most of the tour. But it was a surprise to Shaq too when Myles said they are about to debut the first father-son duo in the genre. For the first time, they did an entire show together.

They’ve been traveling on Shaq’s private jet everywhere without a pause. But at Carpe Diem, O’Neal took a backseat – evident from him not wearing his massive ‘Shaq Diesel’ necklace for once – and hyped Myles from the back, a role Myles has been fulfilling for most of their tour. It took a bit of insisting from Myles for Shaq to even come up to the deck briefly. The cutest part Myles shared was when Shaq was singing along to his mixes.

Myles’ solo accomplishments and the debut of the O’Neal Boyz has been one of the biggest occurrences in trap music recently. Not only bassheads but even their family was proud.

The O’Neal fam supports the O’Neal Boyz

Taahirah was among the first to gush like a proud mama bird. She even commented under Myles’ post, “Real rockstar s**t.” Myles replied with the same energy in emoji form.

Honorary member of the O’Neal Boyz stamped his approval with a mere, “O!” Like some chant to identify your people, Myles responded with “O’Neal Boyz.” And this won’t be the last thing from them.
