Shaunie Henderson works the hardest in the Henderson family. As a mother of five, she balances her responsibilities with caring for her kids, managing her work, and fulfilling her duties as the Church’s first lady. Shaunie and her husband, Pastor Keion, worked tirelessly to ensure the renovation of their church which had been destroyed due to a hurricane recently. However, the Basketball Wives star has taken on another secretive task. After her husband caught on to one of her tricks, Henderson let another secret slip.

Shaunie shared that she devises a hilarious yet brilliant method to stay in sync with her husband. “I learned you,” Henderson declared as she revealed her secret trick to manipulate her husband. “I learned how you listen, I learned like your moods or even how to say certain things, so sometimes I can suggest things to you and make you think that it was your idea,” Henderson confessed on The GrOOwZone podcast.

Henderson hinted that she has become well-acquainted with her husband’s moods and thought processes. She confessed to occasionally suggesting things to him in a subtle way that made him believe they were his ideas.

“Thank you for letting me know,” Keion had a hilarious response to his wife’s cheeky trick with a straight face. “It’ll never work again. I appreciate you for revealing your secret,” he claimed. As of now, the couple seems to be 2-0, with the Pastor having previously revealed another one of Shaunie’s hilarious tricks.

Shaunie Henderson got called out by her husband

During the podcast, Pastor Henderson admitted to keeping notes on his wife to better understand what makes her happy. However, after his adorable act was mercilessly labeled “awful” by his wife, he confronted her about her secret drawer of notes.

Upon realizing that she had no way to escape, she admitted to writing clever comebacks for arguments with her husband. “Sometimes it’s you. Sometimes I write notes about so I can remember to come back to that,” Shaunie confessed. Although Keion was initially less than thrilled upon discovering this, the two ultimately reached a consensus. 

She only received even more appreciation and encouragement from him. After a hectic schedule overseeing the renovation of the Lighthouse Church in Houston, the couple surely returned with a new podcast episode packed with hilarious moments.

While Henderson may have just exposed her trick, she likely has many more strategies up her sleeve. Perhaps these odd and bizarre tricks are what keep the Henderson household running smoothly.
