Ernie Johnson crafted a poem for his friends, family, and well-wishers
While Johnson’s show, “Inside the NBA” won 17 sports Emmys, the star won six sports Emmy awards as a studio host. Not to mention the love from fans and viewers he has won over the years. It was only right for him to narrate another engaging poem for the crowd.
He read, “I’m blessed to look out at the faces I see. Be thankful for what you have all meant to me. I’m honored and grateful to have had a career that somehow allowed me to be standing here.” He continued, “Blessed to have parents who showed me to know a guy Jesus who guides me each day. Blessed with co-workers who are really much more, they’re friends and family right down to the core.”
