Being the son of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen, Justin Pippen is now carving his own way to making it to the NBA. As a first step towards it, he recently cracked the top 150 basketball rankings for 2024 and made a significant jump to show everyone that he is the real deal. With Justin Pippen making everyone proud with his performance, it is now only a matter of time before he eventually reveals his plans for the NCAA. Hoping for nothing but the best for her son, proud momma, Larsa Pippen shared the news with her fans. Not only did Justin Pippen make the top 150 ranking, he was placed at number 60 even though this was his first time making the list.

He was one of the 7  players to crack the newest version of the list. However, among the seven, Justin Pippen was the only one who has yet to commit to an NCAA program despite already fielding countless offers. Larsa Pippen shared the post on her Instagram story and captioned it, “Let’s go,” while tagging her son.

There is a notable silence regarding Pippen Jr.’s college commitment despite visiting different campuses. Larsa, too, has not commented on her son’s future in college basketball.

Nonetheless, the 18-year-old’s recent performance as a member of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers is definitely the reason for his rise in stock. Justin Pippen recently had an impressive outing against Harvard-Westlake, who were the top-ranked team. With six minutes left on the clock, the Trailblazers were down eight points. However, this gave the guard, Justin Pippen, the right opportunity to show his skills.

Pippen started firing from deep, and this led the team to a comeback and eventually handed Harvard-Westlake their back-to-back loss. Justin ended the game with 6 three-pointers and 24 points. His skills are apparent, and his family is proud of what he has accomplished. His dad also shared his happiness after witnessing Justin’s performance.

Scottie Pippen and LeBron James cheer for Justin from the stands

Scottie Pippen’s influence on his son is apparent, as he had a hustle mentality from the get-go. The 6x NBA champion was spotted a couple of times cheering for his son. Recently, after the game against Harvard-Westlake, Basketball Hall of Fame member Scottie Pippen shared a video of his son’s highlights on Instagram.

Justin, whose fiery second half propelled the team towards a 74-68 win on Friday night. Despite Bryce James being absent from the match, LeBron James took to Instagram to celebrate Justin’s remarkable achievement. He shared a post that highlighted Justin’s impressive 24-point performance. With this victory, the Trailblazers have now extended their winning streak to 16 games and are undefeated (5-0) in the Mission League.

Even though Bryce did not suit up for the team’s recent victory, he has been a key contributor off the bench, with remarkable averages of 7.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. Junior wing Bryce James and senior guard Justin Pippen have helped the Trailblazers position themselves for a Southern Section Open Division berth.
