An attempted cartwheel, a muscle pulled, cheerleading revisited all for Team USA gymnastics, and Gabrielle Union would consider it a win. The Bring It On actress sent out a hilarious clip of support to the team about a week ago. Now, the stars haven’t just triumphed on the big stage, but Union receives her acknowledgment too.

Just ahead of the Olympic opening ceremony, the wife of the Miami Heat legend, uploaded a video of her hyping the gymnastics team. “Tried to defy gravity and landed right back on the ground! 😮‍💨 To my ladies @jordanchiles, @simonebiles, @sunisalee, @jadecarey, and @hezrivera we’re all rooting for you! LET’S GO TEAM USA!!! #NBCOlympics #ParisOlympics 🏆,” she captioned. Union even successfully completed 1 cartwheel, to only end up promoting tiger balm for an injury hilariously made known.

Her husband Dwyane Wade, who seemed to be recording, could also be heard saying, “Let’s go.” The support translated on ground as well when Gabrielle Union showed up at the event. A fan recorded Biles’ reaction when she saw Union in the stands.

Simone Biles fangirling over @itsgabrielleu is SO pure 🥹” Union quoted the tweet and added her reaction.“Here for 2 reasons. @simone_biles & @chilesjordan 🤸🏾‍♀️♥️ #OlympicGames

Simone Biles capped off her Paris Olympics with another medal, this time a silver in the women’s floor exercise. With that, her medal tally for the 2024 Olympics read 4 medals, three of them gold, and a total 11 overall. Fellow Team USA gymnast, Jordan Chiles had a celebration of her own, winning a bronze on the same apparatus after a disappointing outing in Tokyo.

Gabrielle Union is in France to support her husband who made his debut in a new role as an NBC commentator. The couple were spotted entering the hotel in somewhat matching outfits – Union with a white button-up top, vertical blue stripes, paired with white jeans, brown bag, and Wade with a blue button-up top over a white undershirt, navy blue pants, and red cap.

Surely with that, Union wasn’t there just for her husband and the gymnastics team.

Gabrielle Union continued support

Continuing her support on the stands, Gabrielle Union sported another red, blue, and white color-themed dress. During the women’s Artistic Gymnastics Floor final she wore her button-down, tied over a navy exercise dress with unique red and white piping along the straps. The pride for Team USA also translated in her support for Noah Lyles.

On her IG story, she wrote, “The level of pure joy I have in my heart. Wheeeewww bayBEEEEE he walked it like he talked it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙏🏾💃🏾💃🏾🥂The Perfect Find actress also added, “I cannot wait for the sh** this man will be talking! Oh they gonna be BIG mad😭😭😭,” after Lyles clocked 9.79 to secure the gold in men’s 100m.

She then suited up alongside Dwayne Wade as the at the celebration event in support of the American men’s and women’s basketball teams at Palais Brongniart in Paris in Monday. USA currently lead the medal table 79 and considering the way both basketball teams are blazing through, 2 more of gold and a little more of celebration for Gabrielle Union may not be far.
