Carmelo Anthony finally got justice! Although the ‘Melo Man’ has never mentioned it, his son snubbing him from the GOAT list was a bit harsh and hilarious too. Even Anthony’s ex-wife admitted to it. Now, days after the confession, his 17-year-old finally honored Melo’s former home New York Knicks veteran Jalen Brunson over Milwaukee Bucks star.

In a recent conversation, Kiyan was asked to choose between Knicks star Brunson and Bucks guard Damian Lillard. In his response, he mentioned Brunson. Kiyan admitted he has watched a lot of Knicks games and is confident in his answer. “Right now I’m taking Brunson. Prime I’m taking Dame. I’ve been to mad Knicks games. Well, Jalen Brunson. He’s liked like some OD,” Kiyan said, via the Big Knick Energy podcast.

The father-son had been spotted in numerous Knicks games. Of course, it was ensured that his son witnessed the legacy ‘Melo’ built in the Knicks.

Some fans were thrilled to hear his answer and urged that he too should follow in his father’s footsteps and get into the Knicks. Well, the 17-year-old has a lot of time to think about it. He hesitated a bit while considering Lillard in his prime. But going with the current scenario, the answer seems almost obvious to him. At least, this time, Kiyan was loyal to his father.

Kiyan Anthony snubbed his father Carmelo Anthony from his top GOAT position

Last year, Kiyan and his mother La La Anthony sat for a conversation and some fun games at an episode of Complex’s GOAT TALK. Both had to answer on who is their GOAT. Before we get to La La’s answer, let’s see Kiyan’s verdict.

Snubbing his father who is his biggest supporter and mentor, Kiyan picked Paul George as the GOAT. “My GOAT is Paul George. Paul George is the best player ever. Kobe. Paul George…Carmelo Anthony,” Kiyan said.

Melo still rules the Knicks fandom but unfortunately, he could not do so for his son. Even the second position was given to Kobe Bryant. And finally, the 17-year-old named his father as third.

On the other hand, while La La also snubbed her ex-husband from the top position, she had a heartwarming answer to make up for it and proudly named her son the GOAT. While Melo might feel. bad for getting snubbed, at least he will feel some peace knowing how much Kiyan respects the New York Knicks and Brunson.
