There has been some historic beef in the NBA. Several of our legends have gone against one another. Although most of the feuds are settled with time, some still have that fire going on within.?However, the beef between two of Michael Jordan‘s arch-enemies is something not to be taken lightly. The feud, at one point, escalated to harmful threats being given between them. The drama infused with misunderstandings was recently discussed by an ex-NFL star.

Scottie Pippen has been on a rampage when it comes to talking down on the great Jordan. In addition to him, Charles Barkley is also someone who is not on good terms with the 6x NBA champion. Interestingly, these two also have a long-standing beef between them and at one point, it reached some serious life threats as well.

Where it all went wrong between Michael Jordan’s enemies

The Chicago Bulls legend has had some legendary feuds in his career. However, those became a thing of the past after his retirement. Recently, an old beef from the past between Barkley and Pippen was brought to the limelight by an ex-NFL star, Marcellus Wiley. Wiley is also a close friend of MJ and brought in the Barkley-Jordan-Pippen trinity into question while shedding light on the age-old beef between the two legends.

While the exact reason is only known to those two individuals, there have been several instances where comments have been made from both sides. The two enemies of MJ have an ongoing beef between them as well. Wiley detailed that it all started when Barkley took a hefty pay cut to bring Pippen into his Houston Rockets team. However, Pippen decided to move out after just one season and that didn’t sit well with the Round Mound of Rebound. In fact, Barkley demanded an apology from Pippen for the same, which he brutally refused. Pippen had said, “I wouldn’t give Charles Barkley an apology at gunpoint.”

Marcellus Wiley is an ex-NFL athlete who also considers himself a good friend of MJ. The two once had a Beyblade contest in his house, where Wiley was declared the winner.

Charles Barkley’s “murder” threat

Reading Pippen’s comments where he said that Barkley should apologize to him for “coming to play with his sorry fat b***,” Wiley couldn’t hold his excitement over the drama as he said, “Oh snap.” He further tried to break down Sir Charles’ response as well. Chuck had said, “I always carry a gun with me.” Continuing with his out-of-character threat, Chuck had said “If I get arrested for murder. Y’all will know he didn’t apologize.”

The beef was clearly getting out of hand at the time. However, we can trust that these legends know better than to do something out of line. Regardless, the intensity of the beef was second to none.
