Many felt like the Golden State Warriors dynasty came to an end after they took two embarrassing losses to the Pelicans and the Raptors back-to-back at the Chase Center. While some have blamed Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, or Draymond Green, an equal number of people have also been furious at head coach Steve Kerr as well. As the Warriors are going down the table day by day, analysts and veterans continue to call out the team, and the latest was Kendrick Perkins, who has blatantly blamed Steve Kerr for the downfall.

Both the players and the fans of Dub Nation have been unhappy with Kerr’s lineups and regulations so far. With all hell breaking loose, Kerr has also admitted that the team is lacking confidence and is fragile. Well, Perk blames the 58-year-old coach for it.

Kendrick Perkins shared on ESPN today, Steve Kerr is getting exposed. We saw the Pelicans, they were ready to play, we saw the Pelicans go for the 50-50 ball, we saw the Pelicans contesting jump shots. We saw Toronto go in a couple of nights before and put up a 133 on them.”

Perkins believes the spirit comes from the coach. The 2008 NBA champion added, The spirit, the energy comes from what your coach is saying…They are playing with a lack of effort, they are playing with a lack of urgency right now, no fight whatsoever.”

It looks like Kendrick Perkins is hinting that the Warriors should make some moves in their front office. The rumors have been afoot for months already and it seems that more and more Warriors fans are abandoning the 9x NBA champion.
