The Big Ticket’s Instagram story is showcasing a resurfaced video of Kanye West aka ‘Ye’ from 5 years ago. The video is about Ye’s photoshoot. But the interesting part comes when the photographer asks Ye to pose like Elvis – The King of Rock n Roll.

However, Ye snaps back at her and says – “I don’t want nothing that looks like Elvis — he stole!” referring to Elvis borrowing black music instead of making some of his own. “I’m talking to fake Elvis’s right now. Give me an African pose. Fuck I’ma do? I’m Ye posing like fucking Elvis?”

Garnett captioned the video – “That part…100, Foh 100.”

Contrary to that, in 2008 Ye won the American Music Award for Favourite Rap/ Hip-Hop Album for ‘Graduation’. And, after receiving the award, Ye turned towards the microphone and said – “They say in any other industry you’re supposed to do better than in the past. Kevin Garnett – keeping his trust in Kanye

After almost 12 months of silence, Kanye West, or ‘Ye’ made a vibrant comeback onstage at a concert in Rome. The concert was a part of Travis Scott’s new album Utopia’s promotion. Ye’s return to the stage was loudly cheered by Garnett on his Instagram.

However, Kanye himself was the reason for this silence, as last year Kanye was suspended from social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. This suspension was a follow-up to Kanye’s harsh and degraded comments about people belonging to the Jewish community.

Several multi-million brands like – TJ Maxx, Footlocker, GAP, CAA, Balenciaga, JP Morgan Chase, and others had endorsement deals with him, and post his polarizing behavior, had to terminate the business relationship. Out of these brands, the most impactful partnership was Adidas with Ye. Adidas’s Yeezy apparel line brought billions every year, with products like sneakers, slides, jackets, and shirts.
