His congratulatory message read, ‘We’re witnessing one of the greatest basketball players do work! Congratulations on getting that 2x DPOY.’ While Wade praised the 27-year-old star for her massive achievement, his Chicago Sky were eliminated from the Playoffs by Wilson’s Aces recently. And both the games were blowouts.

A’ja Wilson has won the DPOY twice in a row
Wilson is one of the best players in the league. With the likes of her, Candace Parker, Kelsey Plum, and Chelsea Gray on the roster, the Aces are not even expected to break a sweat. And that is proving to be the case as the Las Vegas franchise has comfortably won all games in the postseason so far. Like Wade mentioned before, more wonders are sure to unravel. Winning her 2nd consecutive DPOY is no mean feat, though.
Wilson also gave credit to her fellow teammates and coach. Taking to her Twitter, she wrote, “Winning in college, I was like, ‘Ok, cool.’ But winning at this level feels different because these are pros, world-class elite women. I’m excited to share it with my teammates.”
