Taylor Swift and NFL fans don’t see eye to eye: her recent appearances at the games have drawn huge backlash in the last few weeks. Fans of the sport don’t like the attention that is given to the musician, mainly because they think it takes away from the fun of the game, especially for those watching from home.

As for Taylor, she is just out there to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs is one of the best athletes in the league, and the two coming together often makes headlines. But the fans however have had enough.

Recently, ex-NBA star Jeff Teague chimed in on the Taylor-NFL debate. Teague echoed the same sentiments that most fans have, Taylor shouldn’t be included in the highlights of the game and shouldn’t be shown on the screen too often. Exasperated, he said, “Bro, why they keep doing that? Every time he make a play, they got to show her. Like at this point I’m tired of her.” Teague said that Taylor being included in every highlight makes him feel like he’s at a concert and not watching a game. He said, “I’m watching a football game bro. I’m not going to a country concert.”

Travis Kelce refuses to pay attention to the outside noise

All these talks regarding Taylor Swift have surely reached the ears of the couple. Recently, Kelce talked about the disrespect being shown to his girlfriend for being at his games. He said, “As long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s outside noise. That’s all that matters.” The Chiefs star also believes that all this noise is getting out of control and is no longer tolerable for him or his family. He said, “I’m not going to say what was said, because that’s what they want. I’m not going to relay it, but some things were said about the family.”

Taylor on the other hand is equally confused because she isn’t in control when the camera has her in focus. In her conversation with TIME, she said, “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.” With Kelce’s team headed for the Super Bowl, NFL fans like Teague will have to find a way to cope with it, because they will definitely put the lens on her on the biggest night for the sport.
