As per MailSport, the championship Air Jordan collection is “set to be sold at auction next week and could go for as much as $10MILLION.The auction will be held next month by renowned auction house Sotheby’s. Named ‘The Dynasty Collection,’ this assortment features Air Jordan VI (1991), Air Jordan VII (1992), Air Jordan VIII (1993), Air Jordan XI (1996), Air Jordan XII (1997), and culminates with Air Jordan XIV (1998). The Head of Modern Collectables Brahm Wachter labelled the collection the “Mona Lisa of the Sneaker collecting and sports memorabilia communities.” No wonder that’s what it’s being called as the collection includes sneakers from each of his 6 championship victories.

It won’t be surprising to watch the collection meet the expectations and fetch $10 million. However, it would be interesting if it could surpass Jordan and Nike’s 2022 success. His 1998 NBA Finals Game 1 jersey fetched an astounding $10.1 million at Sotheby’s. The record is still held by the champion.
