As the basketball season gains momentum, excitement among fans and the media is mounting. While some individuals, like Giannis Antetokounmpo, have unquestionably dedicated themselves to rigorous practice routines, the reigning NBA champion had different plans. Nevertheless, despite this apparent absence of enthusiasm, the 2023 NBA Finals MVP continues to enjoy strong support from both fans and the seasoned Boston Celtics legend, Kevin Garnett. Notably, he’s not the only one excited to see the?Joker?return to action.

Kevin Garnett approves of Nikola Jokic?s reckless behavior

As the interview asked about how much time he spent playing basketball, Nikola Jokic had an unexpected and intriguing answer. Talking about his career, he said, ? A couple of times, not much.? To which, Murray could not hold back. He chimed in with, ?No, he didn?t.? After his teammate publicly called him out, the 2x NBA MVP explained his thought process. He said that he had to play basketball two and a half months more because of their success and needed some more time to recover from that. The Denver Nuggets played all the way until June 12 when they won their first ever championship against the Miami Heat.

By his account, the center spent a great summer engaging in horse riding, rafting, drinking, and spending time with his family.??
