The NFL vs NBA debate has gone viral. It all started when Austin Rivers put forward an argument that about 30 NBA players could play well in the NFL and succeed. This was fine by the NFL players but what he later said caught on a lot of debate. Rivers claimed but the NFL players cannot make their mark in the NBA. As the debate caught a lot of eyes, a former NBA star center has now come forward to give his two cents and clear the air.
The champion center was present in a podcast show of ‘Sheed & Tyler’ and spoke at length about his views. This had fans getting more clarity over the viral debate.

“We got very few guards in the NBA. I’m I’mma say, Marvin Harrison probably been the best football player who could have played in the NBA but all short players in the NBA, all guards in the NBA aren’t football athletic. I don’t think they are. It’s a different look and I’mma… I’mma tell you all it this. Yeah, we are some good athletes, but a lot of guys in the NBA can only play basketball. A lot of guys in the NBA can’t hit a baseball. They can’t hit a softball. They can’t catch a football. They can’t throw a football,” Wallace stated.

Marvin Harrison was a six-foot NFL player widely considered for his athleticism. Maybe it was his height that Wallace considers a primary factor in helping the former in the NBA. The impact of both games is such in the household that his son Harrison Jr. plies his trade for the Arizona Cardinals but once he considered a career in basketball. Thus it evidently shows that he might have lived up to the balling reputation.
As for Wallace, he was a center who started his career with the Washington Wizards and went through a lot of transfers. The 6-foot 11 center had a decent 14.4 points in the game with 6.7 rebounds per match. Therefore, he took full advantage of his height. He sure understands the skills needed in the NBA and NFL too. His answer would have pleased a lot of NFL fans. While the NFL great Patrick Mahomes had a neutral take on the same.

Patrik Mahomes shares his take on the viral debate, coming across as against Sheed’s take
Mahomes while watching the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder‘s match had a different opinion. Mahomes as per Hot New Hip Hop opined that NBA star Lu Dort could play in the NFL. This opinion was divulged to Dave Pasch who stated “Patrick Mahomes, unsolicited, just turned to Hubie and I and said Lu Dort could play in the NFL.”
Hopefully, fans will get a satisfactory answer to the viral debate and Mahomes would also have liked to get a fresh take on this through Wallace.
