A penny saved is a penny earned. Indeed, the words are correct, but the NBA legend Michael Jordan seems to have taken it too far. His Airness’ son Marcus Jordan recently made a shocking revelation about his father. On the latest episode of “Separation Anxiety,” Marcus and his girlfriend Larsa Pippen sat for another intriguing episode revealing secrets about their family.

And the most recent one about the 6-time NBA champion seems to have shaken the entire fan base. What did Marcus reveal? Let’s find out more about it.

Marcus Jordan narrated the Bahamas incident

In the recent episode, “Spilling Family Secrets,” Marcus revealed several details about his father. Taking the fans by surprise, he revealed that His Airness doesn’t know how to swim. Moving on with the conversation, he shared another shocking story with fans about how the legend chose money over his daughter. 

As Marcus recalls, it was during one of their family vacations to the Bahamas when Jordan and his daughter went into the water on a jet ski. Unfortunately, the jet ski capsized, and both were on the water. The daughter in question is MJ’s third eldest Jasmine Jordan.  

Here is what he shared, “My sister was floating, she had a life vest on. My dad was on the water, he wasn’t wearing a life vest. All you see is this big wad of cash like probably 40 grand in a rubber band.”

Before revealing the entire story, he questioned Pippen about who his father saved first. While she must have correctly anticipated the secret, fans might have been surprised to hear Marcus’ answer. He said, “My dad literally went for the 40 grand first. … My dad said, ‘She got on a life vest but I gotta go grab this couch.”

The man who owns several fishing boats and yachts doesn’t know how to swim is a fact that is quite hard to digest indeed. Recently, the legend was spotted enjoying time on his luxury yacht with his wife Yvette Prieto.

Unbothered by the paparazzi capturing, the duo seemed to be enjoying their time. Jordan was even spotted taking a dive into the water.
