If you are a team trying to win a championship, you need this man on your side. It’s an extremely rare feat for an NBA player to get to the finals seven times and never taste defeat. The legendary 7-time champion who was once a forward for the LA Lakers has the nickname “Big Shot Rob“. His exceptional clutch shooting during important games earned him his name and a spot as one of the league’s greatest winners.

Robert Horry believes that some people are untouchable

Robert Horry was asked during the podcast about who he thinks in his opinion, cannot be canceled. His co-hosts said that Bernie Mac could not be canceled. Dave Chappelle was then mentioned as being non-cancelable. They mentioned that he is still going strong despite the fallout from his transgender jokes during his Netflix segment. However, Robert Horry had a somewhat surprising response.

He tried to include more women, saying that there are a lot of men who cannot be canceled. Horry continued by stating that Chelsea Handler is another person who won’t be impacted by this. However, they all concurred that the comedians are the ones who cannot be canceled. It’s always a joke, so they can take things to the extreme.

It’s a hard choice to pick anyone else over Dave Chappelle after what he has overcome in his journey.

‘The Closer’ received major heat from the people

The comedian Dave Chappelle, with 13 awards to his name, has never shied away from expressing his opinions regarding everything in society through his jokes. In his Netflix series ‘The Closure’, Chappelle went on to provide some rather unhinged take on transphobia and eventually jokingly called himself transphobic during his 70-minute segment.

Chappelle received a major backlash from many trans rights activists. Even an executive producer from Netflix shared that she would stop working with Netflix if they kept producing insensitive content just to make money.

Chappelle later talked about the controversy and stated that people have not fully listened to the show and are commenting just on the clips they have seen online. He further added that the major points in his show are not towards trans people but towards male white queer people who oppress black people in the country.

Well, it’s safe to say that people have failed to cancel the comedian. In October, Chappelle is set to perform at the United Center. They added a third day to his performance because of the overwhelmingly high demand from the audience. Do you think cancel culture is a good thing for our society? Or should people consider jokes to be just jokes?
