Shaquille O’Neal knows a thing or two about roasting. He has been the target of sharp jabs and taunts numerous times. He even once appeared in a roast show. Steve Harvey, Tommy Davidson, Cedric the Entertainer, and more were featured on the Platinum Comedy Series, Roasting Shaquille O’Neal. Needless to say, the squad didn’t show mercy to the NBA veteran. And as one might assume, similar was the situation in The Roast of Tom Brady.

Well, the brutality can be understood by how the show managed 1 spot on the English TV List. It gained around 13.8M views. However, that number didn’t convince the Lakers’ legend. While O’Neal admitted that the roast was quite brutal, it wasn’t enough to stir his emotions. “I think that roast was very brutal some of that stuff like some of that stuff a lot of people gonna be complaining in today’s society however I think it was funny as s**t I was rolling,” O’Neal said.

But it indeed took a toll on the Super Bowl Champion. After the roast show, Brady expressed his regret for his participation in the show featuring Kevin Hart, Nikki Glaser, and Jeff Ross.

Speaking of the show, the NFL legend said that he has a bittersweet feeling. During his appearance in The Pivot Podcast, Brady said, “I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun. I didn’t like the way that it affected my kids, so it’s the hardest part about like the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way and then all of a sudden you realize I wouldn’t do that again because of the way that affected actually the people that I care about the most in the world.”

On the other hand, O’Neal had a different opinion.

Shaquille O’Neal says he is a “funny guy”

He added that he might sometimes get annoyed by the remarks. But it would take more than that to hurt his feelings. “I’m a funny guy we know nothing nothing really hurt my feelings you can piss me off but you can never have my feelings,” O’Neal said.

As mentioned above, the Lakers legend has appeared in many shows where he got roasted mercilessly. Let’s not forget his dressing sense was recently called out by Andrew Schulz. After watching O’Neal in a pink T-shirt and red trousers, Schulz remarked that the 4x NBA Champion looked like a “tropical starburst”.

However, the Los Angeles Lakers legend simply went on to praise the comedian for his fearlessness. Previously, in response to co-host Adam Lefkoe’ one particular question, the Big Aristotle said, “I like Andrew Schulz. He goes off. He is still a little bit of old-school comedy like he don’t really give a f**k about what people think.” O’Neal said in the latest episode of Shaq’s The Big Podcast.

We can almost call the Big Man of the league an expert at taking the hilarious jabs gracefully. Another NBA Star suggested by fans for the Roast Show is Stephen Curry.
