Caitlin Clark is making headlines for all the right reasons. She is currently the face of women’s basketball and a new hope for the young generation. Riding on the waves, Big 3 league’s founder, rapper Ice Cube stirred the internet when he announced his offer for Clark to join the tournament. The latest active player to player to play in it is Jaylen Brown. Greats of the league are also part of it. While nothing has been confirmed, there are already questions on whether Clark will be able to dominate the former NBA greats. 

In the latest episode of The Truth Lounge, Boston Celtics veteran Paul Pierce also had a similar question. He urged the fans and viewers to share their opinion on whether Clark can score on his co-host and NBA legend Tony Allen. Teasing Allen, the Celtics legend even noted, “I think she can get a bucket on him.” The NBA veteran quickly added his declaration before fans could respond to Pierce’s question. He boldly claimed that Clark wouldn’t be able to score against him and said, “She (Clark) ain’t getting no bucket on me killer I’m telling you right now.”

What is your take on this? While both fans and experts are busy with the debate, Clark on the other hand is yet to confirm the news.

Caitlin Clark is in a tough position

Soon after the rumors, the rapper himself took to his social media to confirm the news. “BIG3 made a historic offer to Caitlin Clark,” Ice Cube wrote on his X. The offer that has the fans divided is $ 5 million. Previously, The Truth also seemed to be skeptical about it, calling the deal a “cap.” While his friend and former teammate Kevin Garnett believes in this deal, Pierce argued on whether Clark can get paid more than Aja Wilson. 

On the other hand, if there’s any truth in the offer rumors, this could become a historic moment for Clark. However, she is also expected to get into the 2024 WNBA draft. However, Clark revealed that she wasn’t aware of the offer until it was announced on social media, and for now, her focus will be on the 2024 NCAA tournament.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Clark clarified, “I honestly don’t talk about those things with really anybody. I have other people that deal with it. They haven’t said a word to me about it. And, my main focus is on this team and helping us find a way to beat Colorado and hopefully win another one after that.”
