In the midst of all the fun banter, Shaq and Charles sometimes turn back the clock and revisit a few iconic moments from when they were players. The 4x NBA champion recently used the words of a former Houston Rockets star to settle a dispute with Barkley. A few days later, O’Neal’s son was spotted at a party along with the same Rockets star.

Jessica Slate, the founder and CEO of ?The Slate House?, recently took to Instagram to share a few pictures with her 15300 followers. It is a digital media and sports concierge service that prides itself on giving a voice to ?the authentic experiences and ideas in sports and entertainment.? Taken during a party held in Las Vegas, she was seen hanging out with various NBA players and prominent celebrities, posing with some of them.

7x NBA All-Star, Tracy McGrady, and his daughter Layla had the honor of being the people to be featured first on Slate?s Instagram post. Another picture featured a scene from the same party during which Shaquille O?Neal?s oldest son Shareef was hanging out with WNBA player Hailey Van Lith.

Other celebrities featured in the post were Grant Williams, Benedict Mathurin, Kyle Kuzma, Jayson Tatum, Torrey Craig, etc. Slate captioned the post ?Friends & Family? and tagged all the people included in it. Most of the people seen at the party were Slate?s clients, including McGrady and Craig.

Nonetheless, McGrady caught the ire of Barkley fans a few days ago for apparent disrespect.

During an edition of TNT?s ?Inside the NBA?, Shaquille O?Neal and Charles Barkley got into an argument. Barkley made the claim that the only reason the former Los Angeles Lakers star was able to win his four championship rings was due to the efforts of then-teammates: Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade. Bearing the thought in mind, O?Neal later took to Instagram to share a reel featuring Tracy McGrady.

In the video, the two-time NBA scoring champion was asked to choose between Shaq and the former Philadelphia 76ers great. Without hesitation, McGrady went with Shaq.

Stating that Shaq was someone ?that?s unguardable,? McGrady said that Barkley?s stature was nothing compared to DJ Diesel?s. He claimed that no one could do anything against the ?most dominant player we?ve ever seen.??Since Barkley is not a big social media user, there is no way to know even if he watched Shaq?s story.
